With the CSA: Comic Slate Archive, not only do we have all the officially released "Comic slates" (Comic pages without speechbubbles in them), but we also have some that have been cleared out for you artificially. We even have the font Gaia uses, free image editing utilities, and Photoshop shapes (for custom speechbubbles and the like)!
Then when you're done with our site, we link you right on over to Gaia's mash-up threads, so you can show off your edit on your favorite site without having to hunt around for the links.

Slates has two sub-categories: Gaia-released, and artifical.
All slates are basically blank comic pages. Blank slates. Gaia-released slates are slates that have been released on Gaia in some way. They are the official source; the originals. They have no speechbubbles in them, and are just the comic's art.
Artificial slates are comic slates created by others. These are the normal comic pages, with speechbubbles, that have been artificially edited for others to use. These slates may have speechbubbles in them, but will not have text in those speechbubbles.
Mash-up threads are the links to Gaia Online's mash-up threads in the Gaia Community Discussion forum. A mash-up thread is a forum thread created specifically to show off edited pages of Gaia's comic(s). All these links will open in a new window.
Since this page works a little bit differently then all the other pages in The GCW, each page will likely have another set of instructions. So stay cool! We're with you if you have never done this before.
As always, you can click the T.O.C. image to come back to this page, and click the GCW banner at the top of the page to go back to the main page of The GCW.
